COACHING FAQ

People who work with a Business Coach are 87% more likely to achieve their goals and get results.  A Business Coach can help you define your core values, which in turn, helps you define your goals.  As a business coach, Eli Blair shares his perspective with you as a business leader as to what works and what does not.  He helps clients find their own strengths and truth’s to help them move in a forward and upward direction.  As a Business Coach, Eli holds clients accountable and acts as a sounding board.  Together, he works with clients to collaborate to find the best solutions that work to help clients keep on the road towards growth, success and happiness.

A Business Coach is called upon to help leaders hone in and fine tune specific skill sets.  For example, an individual contributor might be promoted to a management role with little expertise or training and need some guidance to help make him/her successful.  Another example might be a top leader who might need help with communication and team building skills…Or a top executive who needs assistance with big picture thinking, executive presence or developing their leadership skills.

Sometimes a Corporate Coach is contacted after a performance evaluation.  If employees are fortunate to have this opportunity, typically a company wants to retain the particular employee but wants to sharpen certain weaknesses and strengthen existing skill sets.

Areas of talent development can include:

  • Team Building
  • Relationship Building
  • Coaching Skills
  • Defining Values
  • Working In New Business Cultures
  • Scaling Up/Down
  • Vision Strategies
  • Presentation Skills
  • Meeting/Expectations/Feedback

Eli Blair offers over 30 courses that can be customized to the needs of your organization.  Leadership programs are offered on-site or through Zoom / Google Hangouts.

Each program can be developed into half or full day programs as well as shorter 2-hour blocks depending on the program.

Upon initial discussion, Eli will provide you with a proposal that will work well within your budget.

First things first.  Typically Eli meets with all prospective clients for a complimentary 45-minutes consultation to see if it is a good match.  This can be done in-person or on Skype.  During this time Eli will discuss what coaching is and is not, how he works and most importantly, the conversation will center on you so that he may learn about your goals and any obstacles you are having.

Each coaching session is as unique as the individual client. Your coaching sessions will be tailored to your needs and aspirations.

In Co-Active coaching it is believed that clients are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole, and capable of finding their own answers to whatever challenges they face. The job of the Co-Active Coach is to ask questions, listen, and empower rather than instruct and advise.

After we begin, you will have the option to be coached either via phone, Skype (or other live virtual programs) or in-person at his office in San Francisco’s Duboce Triangle neighborhood.  (Easy access to all public transportation)

For one-to-one coaching, typically Eli meets with clients every other week for 45-60 minutes with a 15 minute accountability check in on alternate weeks.

As for payment, Eli will discuss your current situation and goals and will provide a proposal to you regarding costs for sessions.  As part of your commitment to coaching, you will always be paying for the following month up front.  Of course, should you need payment options, this can be discussed.

For leadership development training, Eli will work with you and your team to create a proposal based on your needs, time and budget.

All forms or credit card payments, checks, Venmo and cash are accepted.
